Alan Glynn Davies joined St George’s Lodge No. 3065 in 1954 from Haberdashers Old Boys Public School Lodge.
In 1959 he became the District Assistant Grand Secretary and Master of St. George’s Lodge in 1962. In the same year he became District Grand Secretary.
He was Past District Junior Grand Warden in 1964; Assistant District Grand Master in 1967 and following the retirement of the District Grand Master, Sir Lionell Brett, he became the District Grand Master in 1968.
1966 he received the Grand Lodge Honour of PastGrand Standard Bearer. He retired to UK in 1972,
